Values
If you truely want to know yourself and who you are, you must first comprehend your values. You must first ask yourself "What do I value?", before you can ask "Who am I?"
Author notes
For all, please chew on this and digest well. I swear it will make you a better person.

Mine
I saw a friend crawl slowly down the shaft of the mine, her lean form disappearing in to the underground, but I never saw her return.
Author notes
And, we shall never know what happened to her friend. It's up to you I suppose.

rational always?
I must have my mind always. Having the ability to think and to be intellectual is important for me. I enjoy thinking and coming up with new ideas, theories, and thoughts. Being a brainless robot is dreadful, and that's not what I want to be. I imagine that would be a miserable life to live. The existence is enjoyable because you can exist and be rational at the same time.
Author notes
This is pretty much ready to go but I may come back and add more when I have the time probably the soonest is thursday of next week.

Friends Are Friends
Friends Values one another in all ways and if it's a true friendship, there's no need to tell one another how much you like each other, because it's already apparent in the love.

the Man At Sea
I stood still atop the tall brown dirty and wet deck of the massive ship. The skies were beautiful, the weather was fair, and it was a glorious day indeed!
Author notes
I must admit it's a little too much influenced by a story, I've practically been reading it all day! Oh and partly from the song Happy Days Are Here Again!

Essence of life again
Philosophy1

"You don't know what you got until it's gone." Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow taxi.2

You don't know how good it is until it's gone. You live, you have life. No one realizes how good and precisely the precious value of it until it's too late. They don't observe and seek to understand life and what it is. They choose to waist it frivilously. Very few understand the meaning of living or why we live. Little understand humans and life. It will go oneday and the individuals who least pay attention to the why's will regret the most.3

So, lesson of the day? Understand life, humanity, and How To Live life. In other words, take philosophy seriously, value it, because You'll need it!
Author notes
I know I am totally taking Mitchell's quote out of context but It's a good quote never the less.

Does race really matter
I am sure if I blush really really super hard and turn red I can be the next Native American president.
Author notes
Well, this was a funny racial remark I had made to Joke with a friend after he wrote a story about how lots of people elected Obama because he was cool like them but most importantly blac.

nonfiction book
I would be a straight forward, professional, and terminology filled book. There would be no pictures, small print that is close together and a very thick volume. While I'd have chapters, the book will revolve around one or two subjects, most likely history and politics. My title would be something witty but my cover would be fairly plain. Something a scholar would pick up. The chapters would go through chronologically past the years and each chapter will be bassed both on history and politics.

A political Jeffersonian laugh
so, I'll give you a little background. Thomas Jefferson our Third president in the U.S.A had trade blocked because of the warring British and French. Most Americans didn't like it. so this joke evolved.1

embargo spelled backwards is O' grab me!
Author notes
I actually heard that one in class in seventh grade. I was going to do a racist joke but scince this contest won't let me I won't. It involves a guy who's dead and was an evil dictator anyways. If you are interested comment and ask for the other one and I'll send you a message with it. In fact I think that one was funnier, since I think we all hate the guy anyways. You know, the one in germany. And, if you don't agree with me on that count, you best stay as far away as you can from me as possible because first of all, that's disgusting.

Soft Footsteps Approach
I sit there just not doing anything then I heard the almost undetectable sound of foot meeting ground. It is not loud or excessive, just a slow walk, in fact slower then normal pace walking. Patter Patter and an occasional soft creeking of the floor. It's comfortable sounding, almost inaudible that you almost must strain to listen for, even if you have a heightened sense of hearing. the pattering gets an insignificant decimal of a degree higher in volume, but I could tell by listening extremely carefully. I know exactly what they plan to do if it has only been a second or two. No one would walk like that in real time serious moments. Of course, they are trying to sneak up on me and scare me. This was also a young person or of considerably less weight since the footsteps sounded shriller and at a higher sound of pattering. There was only one other young person in this house since mom and dad's footsteps sounded comparatively different.

There's Too Much To Do To Be Bord
I never understood it at all, How can one be bored, when there is so much activity in this world to occupy them? People are zipping down the streets to get home to read a nice book and to enjoy a nice night with a favorite television show or movie. Perhaps to come back home only wanting to flop upon there sacred bed to sleep a beautiful dream from a long exhausting trip. Yet some other people find nothing to do and sit there claiming they are bored. Isn't there much better things to do then sitting there doing nothing and complaining about doing nothing? No one is depriving them of the opportunity of doing something or rather for most of these individuals. We see many activities one can do from surfing the net and learning something new. To doing the ancient art of opening an actual book and setting ones eyes on the page to begin the reading process. Maybe also to going out of the hous and be a part of society. There is so much to do. One has only to discover them, but most importantly, they must want to and have the motivation to discover them.
Author notes
I hope this helps.
